No More Minivans from Victory Monument from October 25, 2016

I have written before about the minivans from Victory Monument in Bangkok that takes passengers to places like Ayutthaya Historical Park and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. But soon, it will be history. The Transport Ministry will move the 4,000 passenger vans that queue at Victory Monument to three major bus terminals in order to improve the traffic jam.

The fares will remain the same, and a trial run of a free shuttle bus service from Victory Monument to the bus terminals has already started.

New minivan stations

  • Vans going to Northern and Northeastern Thailand will be moved to Chatuchak Bus Terminal.
  • Vans going to Eastern Thailand will be moved to Ekkamai Bus Station.
  • Vans going to Southern and Western Thailand will be moved to Bangkok Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Thai Mai).

The map below shows the three bus terminals around Victory Monument.
