Even though my wife lived seven years in Phuket, she was never up to the hills of Patong. She didn’t even know there was a panoramic view of Patong until I showed a picture on the internet and suggested that we should drive up and take a look. There are a few restaurants and bars up here, but it is a very quiet area despite its closeness to Patong Beach.
Phuket is an island of many hills and stunning viewpoints, and I have been fortunate to see many of them. The name Phuket is derived from the Malay word “Bhukit” which means “Hill.” Here are some of Phuket’s most beautiful viewpoints for you to check out.
1. Karon Viewpoint (Kata Viewpoint)
Karon Viewpoint, which used to be Kata viewpoint, is one of my favorite views in Phuket. From here, you can see Kata Noi, Kata Yai, and Karon beach. Three world-class beaches.
